wires to install before carpet?

I'm about to install carpet... was wondering what wires (size and how many) for future stereo stuff I should pre-install? My battery is up front with no plans to put it in the trunk (besides I'm familiar with the E30 cable application... I may or may not do.)

what I may want as far as future needs... a good, small but quality system:

1. speakers in the parcel shelf (maybe 6x9, maybe separates)

2. a small accurate bass setup

3. I'll have an amp but not sure how big or where it will go

4. anything else to consider cable wise?

I don't know about stereo equipment, but what about:

1. trunk push button release (solenoid)?

2. trunk light?

3. future fuel pump?
