I have a 2002 '72 It needs a front panel replacement, manly valence has disintegrated is there some work around this or do I have to shell out £700 for a new one??

brackets, you should be able to find a parts car with a crunched front end where that lower part is still good. Accident damage usually occurs higher up. You might even be able to get by with some welded in patches in the flat sections.

An alternative would be to fit a front chin spoiler that will cover the damaged area.

Either is much easier than replacing the entire front panel.
