Heater hose grommet

Are there grommets in the cowl where the heater hoses pass through? Makes sense, but I don't remember removing and can't find them on a parts diagram or in the forum.

I pulled my heater box a couple of weeks ago and I can confirm that there are grommets on the firewall.

check out 64 21 1 375 130. i think that's what you are looking for.

a heads up though... when i got mine I thought they were the wrong ones. My original ones were pretty straightforward round grommets. The ones i received had a wide flat flange molded into them... but they did fit well and the flange part just kind of sticks out in the cowl area so i just went ahead and used them... you can always just carfully trim off the flange part I suppose as well

Wrong part number - 64 11 1 353 352 has the flat side and goes on the heater box itself.

You want 64 21 1 376 130 - rubber guide for water hose - they are $1.91 from Max.

theres also 2 sizes. make sure you get the correct size for your year

Thanks for the help. Looks like a 14mm size for older cars (pre 1972) and 18mm for my 74.
