SoCal Vintage BMW Meet Giveaways.....

When I got back from New England there were a couple of boxes of stuff from Meguiars waiting for me. Turns out they sent a dozen Quik Care detailing kits for our event, and John and I will be giving them away at the Meet. No raffles, we'll just draw a dozen of the voting cards that the drivers will fill out to help decide the Driver's Choice Awards and give the kits away. This is nice stuff, each kit has a bottle of exterior detailer, interior detailer and wheel detailer as well as a microfiber towel... must be $40-$50 retail. So, if you haven't registered yet, what are you waiting for? At this point any registrant has a really good chance of bagging one of these! Thanks Meguiars!

kills me to say this but I not going to be able to go. I got my first invitation to be a NASA instructor for sat and sunday at buttonwillow. I've been kinda a probationary instructor for the last few events and the head instructor just called me to invite me to be a regular full instructor. The only reason I would ever pass up an event like this is an opportunity for track time.

I can't pass up this opportunity so unfortunately I will miss what I've been looking forward to for a long time. Maybe next year I can attend and show my car as well.

Good luck on the event!

PLEASE take lots and lots of pictures!

I may be visiting So Cal on the 11th, but I will not have my 02 with me. Thus, I have no reason to register or do I? Can I just visit the meet, or must I register? Is there an admission fee? Will there be places to park for those who do not register?
