My cigarette lighter commited suicide.

Yesterday, I pushed in my cigarette lighter out of curiosity about it's working condition. Apparently, because it was a little bent on the inside, it didn't pop back out. So, it just heated and heated and heated until it melted the knob enough to droop down. Looks kind of sad, really.

So, anyone have a spare for a `76?

me thinks your lighter was trying to give you a clear message that smoking kills! ;)

I should have mentioned that i don't smoke! I just don't wnat an empty hole in my dash...

...also, car cigarette lighters make great fireworks lighters!
