Diff problems.

I posted a previous forum asking about how to make, what i believe to be, a late E21 320is LSD into my 02, and was told that i could put 320 CV joints on the inboard ends of my half shafts and wam bam im good to go, but i was wondering if anyone had ever just drilled new holes in the 320is flanges instead of swapping CV joints. I figured i would ask you guys before i went out and junk yard hunted for some good half shafts from a 320.

Anyone ever done this??

yes, the flanges can be re-drilled with some precision. Or you can call places like 2002haus and get a pair of the ones that have been re-drilled already. For more info on diff conversion, please read the FAQ

look down the forum a bit- this just came up.

And you need to use the 320 shaft and inner joint- it's the 5/16" longer or whatever

to make it all fit right.
