OT Volvo P1800

Yesterday old Volvo's popped up in a posting and KFunk asked for more information on the P1800. Here's the Wikipedia link:

About 10 years ago I befriended a German woman who was here in the US buying European cars to ship back to Germany. She would show up with the most amazing cars not the least of which was a 300 SL Gullwing once.

One day she showed up with a P1800 which replaced a late model Mercedes as her daily driver. After about 6 months of seeing her sporting around in the little Volvo I asked, "When are you going to ship that car overseas?" She replied "This car is for a woman who lives in Berlin." "Oh, you have a buyer for it then" I said and she replied "No, but It is only for sale to a woman Berliner!"
