Well I enlisted the help of a fellow competitor to help me swap my 45DCOE's for a 38/38. That way I can join all the other '02 in the CS class.

(DCOE's will be for sale in the parts forum soon.)

Also after my racing school I strongly suspected a head gasket problem. So OFF WITH THE HEAD!

to my surprise his secret location was full of hidden gems! take a look at the pics......

was very cool to walk around and check out all the hardware they have there..... really nice cars!

my head did had lots of corrosion and we sent it out to get checked for cracks and straightness. Meanwhile my car will sit in the "showroom" with the other peices.

This car is going to be sick!

complete restoration, amazing bodyand paint work. no engine yet....not sure what's going in...

but check it out....

SUEDE COVERED DASH!! The rear seats were beautiful. The door panels also featured suede.....

The Cortina wins my vote for "coolest car you NEVER see enough of" status!

Those early ones are just plain BITCHIN'!

And what linkage on the first orange DCOE car???? It looks VERY well designed! Nice Bellcrank baby!
