Advise on air tools

I just inherited a 33gal compressor. Can you please tell me what basic tools I need. It's mechanics tools I'm interested in. Thanks in advance.

I love my air ratchet... makes assembly and dissaembly work go so much faster. The impact wrench has proven to be indespinsible. Oh, and an air gun.

DA's are nice too but I do not think your compressor will keep up.

impact and air saw are my favorites. air ratchets are nice but i only use them on drivers. i prefer to take my time and be careful when putting anything together on my resto

Off topic, but once you've used nail guns your framing and finish hammers will grow very dusty.

If you go looking at Sears, don't forget to check at OSH as well. I found the same tools there for $20 less.

While most people will say that high dollar tools are the best to get, inexpensive tools can do the job (usually). For the amount of use that I put mine through, they are fine. They weren't the cheapest ones, but they were far from the most expensive. Figure what your budget is, what your needs are, and buy accordingly.

1/2" impact is a MUST. Once you use it to break something free, you'll wonder why you waited so long to get one.
