engine and drivetrain Mid-Alantik/NC 02ers summer drive

We are back from our annual summer drive through VA and WV. Dr. Hall and Susie were again the perfect hosts and tour guides. There were five cars this year that started our drive in Clifton Forge, VA, went a bit south for breakfast, then we worked our way through our own "little Bavaria" to Cass WV home of the Shay steam engines and on to Seneca Rocks noted from some of the better rock climbing in the mid-Atlantic states.

Saturday night found us in Montery,VA, in very cool weather. Nice after a week in the high 90s and 100s. We all went our seperate ways this morning. Looking forward to it again next year.

Very sorry we missed it, guys. Patti's in London (at the British Open, no less!) and I spent the entire weekend in the office, working. Bummer. Next time, for sure! See you at 02berfest, Herndon, etc. Best/David and Patti
