The P/N's that I've figured out so far:

1502/1602/1802/2002/limo,convertible,and includes 1600GT

51 14 5 480 181 (Front badge 3/66 to 7/77, and also should be rear badge on 2002 turbos)**

51 14 1 801 560 (rear badge 3/66 to 8/73) All roundie's take this one.

51 14 1 872 328 (rear badge 8/73 to 7/77) (List $??.??) All square tail light cars except 2002 turbo

The 1602/1802/2000/2002 touring: (unconfirmed if these are entirely correct):

51 14 8 132 175 (rear badge 4/71 to 4/74)

**Note: My older Mobile Tradition ETK shows: 51 14 5 480 178 for the front badge, but the newer catalog shows the correct P/N as listed above. It appears that BMW only had one P/N for front emblems on all cars (it crosses with an E36 front emblem for example).....

The rear Touring badge (on tailgate) is the same as the front hood badge.

A new plastic '02 hood badge I got a few years back turned out to a wee bit smaller on diameter than the original "raised" metal badge on my Touring. Don't know if BMW changed the size or I was just unlucky.

Depends on the number of Newcastles consumed prior to measuring.

The trick is to drink down the bottle until there is ~just~ a thimbleful left, and THEN pour it into the thimble. I always come up short and have to start over with a fresh bottle.
