It’s sounds sort percussive to me. Many years ago when I started a long dead 02 I made the mistake of not making sure the top end had oil supply, for the time it took to get the oil to the valve train that’s exactly what I heard… still haunts me🙄

how's the main chain tensioner?  Not super likely, but easy to rule out...
