Need help with pinch weld install

Does anyone have pictures or advice on how to install the factory interior pinch weld?

 

Specifically, what’s the relief cut used for and how’s it oriented on the door frame?

Relief cut is for b-pillar. From there short end goes back and long end covers door opening. You need to have roof liner and a/b pillars liners (with same looking straps) in place. This is the last bit you’ll tap in place.

ok rear side (”door”) panel is the last bit as back end hides under it and front end hides under door sill protection piece or not - depending on year of productuon iirc.
