Horn carbon pin replacement

Hi all - I have a new horn pin to install. Old one snapped off.

How do I remove the wire from this contact? It appears that the top of the brass pin may have broken? I'm probably not looking at this right.

Help much appreciated!IMG_20221011_133351882.thumb.jpg.762c5eda7a1813ce0dec58e28600760b.jpg

All those contacts I've seen come as an assembly:  a spring loaded brass pin (in an insulated sleeve) on one end of the wire, and a terminal on the other end.  The terminal plugs into the terminal that's in the steering wheel, and the pin slips into the hole in the steering wheel.
