What you’ve shown might also be the factory “dummy button”, but an ‘02 auxiliary light switch (round taillight) looks like that: illuminated green button with a shiny silver surround. The reason I believe this might be a dummy button rather than an auxiliary light switch is that the green button looks more opaque than clear (translucent?) green.

Below is the auxiliary light switch in my ‘76 — not for sale, but as a reference!
