Ignition tumbler locked

Hi,

 

My ignition tumbler was locked in the 'fahrt' position.

After alot of furstration I managed to turn it back to the halt position. This was a bad idea because now the tumbler is stuck in this very position.

My steeringwheel can move freely when ignition is off so no locking mechanism.

Next, I removed the tumbler from the ignition assembly, but I don't see a way to further dismantle the cylinder from it's housing.

One thing I read was that the only way to do this is with the key in the 'o' position.

If this is a lost cause, does BMW supply new tumblers with keys?
