Removing metal hinge attachment from rear quarter glass

I’ve been soaking with PB plaster

And it seems to be glued to the glass

any suggestions appreciated

#1- Remove cotter pin

#2- Gently pry the metal strip away from the glass,up and down both sides of the glass with a plastic scraper.

#3- With a rubber mallet gently tap on the metal strip,up and down both sides. They are not glued on, they're just old.

With all due respect, if I could Gently Remove I wouldn’t have

posted.

at this point I’m looking for something to melt The neoprene.

also this may have glue
