WTB 5" x 13" steel wheels for 1972-1973 tii

As Paul said, I think he wants the ‘69 to ‘73 5x13 ti/tii steel rims.  These were most commonly manufactured by Lemmerz (model #1344), occasionally manufactured by Kronprinz (model #5448 A), and there is probably a Solrad (SRD) version, model # unknown by me.

Below, a May 1972 (“5” over “72”) Lemmerz example and a February 1973 (“2” over “73”) Kronprinz example.

Check with Sherman Martinez. He might have one, or more.

Good luck,

Steve

I often wonder how many of these stock Tii rims are sitting in the back of people’s garages from when they pulled them off in the 70s and 80s to replace with e21 and e30 alloys.....their 02s are long gone but the wheels are still sitting there collecting dust!  Good luck with your search.

+1

Given the number of 1972-73 tii’s missing their original steelies, that’s gotta be true....

Of course, back in the early ‘70’s, one of the “hot” setups — for owners without tii’s — was to replace your skinny little 4 1/2” steel rims with those big fat 5” rims!  Yowee!  So some of those tii rims are, no doubt, now sitting in the garages of people who never owned tii’s!

Best regards,

Steve
