I recently converted some slides I found into digital images. One was the saleswoman at Fritz's BMW and Datsun in Trenton, NJ bringing me the final paperwork on my new Verona/ tan 2002, prior to driving it off the lot in February of 1976. A lot of fun down the road ...

Great pic, I've always admired that you still have the car. I started driving in 1980 so no decent cars were worth keeping in my time, but I sure wish my dad had kept his 69 Torino GT or the 73 Charger. Oh well, at least I plan to keep my 02 to pass on to my kids.

Actually, I don't still have that car. I sold it when I got married a couple of years later. But the flame never died and I have enjoyed 5 more since that one. Ask me how smart I feel about selling a really nice Turbo some 10 years ago for under $30K.
