electrical and ignition Id'ing Oil Pressure Thread Size

Based on research here I've ordered a M12x1.5 thread oil pressure sensor for my 74Tii.  It just struck me now, that there are parts on my car that are not original so I should not be assuming it has what it should have.  I just checked -- the distributor mount block has a date of '82.

 

 

Real OEM shows that 320i used M12x1.5 (I'm assuming an '82 date code is for 320i) and it does have an O-ring.  Is there any other thing I should check - short of pulling out sensor (I don't have a 24mm deep socket handy)? 

 

The part is back ordered at JEGS for a few more days, so can change the order if not the right part.

It'll be 12x1.5.  I have had about 35 distributor mounts, and they're ALL 12x1.5  And it's not an o- ring, it's a soft metal

(aluminum or copper) crush washer.
