steering and suspension Bilstein Hd Hardware

I'm in the process of installing Bilstein HD strut inserts and I have a question about what hardware goes on the top end. I'm pretty sure the old strut inserts were Bilstein sports (I didn't know that when I bought the new ones or I would have gone with the sports again).

 

In any case, the setup that's currently installed goes:

 

bilstein insert > spring cap thing > washer > upper bearing > tall washer (cylinder shaped thing about an inch long) > smaller washer > nut

 

but when I pile these things on to the HD there's some wiggle room, even with the nut tightened down. Should I just throw another washer in there to take up the slack or am I missing something substantial?

That's perfect, thanks! Sorry about the lack of pictures. I wasn't around my camera when I posted this.

 

It looks like I am in fact missing a washer and the concave dust seal. Glad I checked!
