Hi all. No matter how much wd40 or penetrating oil (pd blaster company) i spray on the cable, its still stuck in the aluminum track.

Its about 4 inches into the track and its the end with the part that ataches to the sunroof (like in this pic):

I tried putting the cable into the vise and pulling on the metal track but dont want to pull too hard.

Thoughts??

p.s. good news is i was able to get the other track free of the returning cable as well as the cable that is attached to the sunroof holder.

It should come out easily or else something is wrong/broken with the guide.

Push it back in a little, then try using a small screwdriver to clean out the tube tracks.

This is how my right one was broken on the '69. Cable moved fine!
