FS: e30 4-lug 14" basket weaves (with center caps)

From a 1989 325ia converted to a fake IS.

The wheels are "OK". The four wheels are great - perhaps need a little paint/TLC but there are zero dings or scratches. Minor oxidation around the center caps, wheel weights and lug nut holes.

WHEELS COME WITH 4 CENTER CAPS

The spare is brutal - as if someone shaved off half of the lip on the outer edge of the rim. Just really terrible - but it's a 5th spare of a matching wheel and it came with the car.

Bad picture but you get the idea. They are a 7/10 - the spare is actually the best rim but the lip makes it really not usable except as a spare so 7/10 for the 4 and 3/10 for the spare.

no idea what these things are worth - they are collecting dust and I'd like them gone.

Located in CT.

I've lived in NYC and Boston for the last 7-8 years. I don't even know what it costs to fill up a gas tank... All I know is the Vespa I had in NYC cost $5 every two weeks :)

I'm not going to use them so why keep them around. I bought an e36 so I'm going to try and dump all/most of the e30 stuff I have except the good LSD's and gearboxes.

I'll get some better pictures and I'll also look into what these things are worth.

The 325ix wheels ARE NOT 24 Offset. Those are the E30 "Euroweaves". Never officially used on US cars they are nearly identical to the E30 14" weaves, but in 15x7 ET 24. The 325ix 15" wheels that were used on AWD 325s in the US are ET41, wont work on a 2002.

Thanks for the correction and apologies for the misinformation on the 15" wheels. I knew the U.S. 325ix wheels did not work on the 2002, but did not pay attention to the offset when I pulled the info from RealOEM. Post fixed above.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
