For speedo recalibration, NH Speedo recommends counting cable revolutions over a measured distance of 52' 9 1/2".

I put a 1/4" spacer on the top two bolts of my booster bracket. That angled the whole setup downward. I have about 3/8" now between my booster and stock intake housing.

I think I found the thingamagic it's called a ratio adaptor. Gonna call NH and find out. But for further clarity the tranny is from a 320i 5speed and the car is a 74tii.

If you get a speedo from a later 02, the ratio should match the e21 LSD or fairly close. If it's too off, have NH recalibrate it for you. Stop worrying about braces, adapters, relocators, magic potions, etc, etc. If you still need thingamagic later, I can sell it to you by the pound rolleyes.gif

tranny is irrelevant....the diff and wheel/tire size are what determines what speedo gearing you need. don't bother with any thingamagics, just get the right speedo head. do a search, tons of info on this.
