FYI. That water valve part number is the showing as the '71 and up variety..there are two sizes.

There are 2 sizes of water valves, 1, early with the smaller inlet and outlet and a brass insides . 2, later with the larger in and out, of these there are 2 different types, one has a brass movement inside and is easy to reseal with new o rings ,the other has a plastic movement which is a through it away and replace part. The one for sale here is plastic, you can tell but the end that the on /off lever attaches to it is black plastic, the brass valve would show a brass end. That could account for the 2 different part # for the same year 2002's ? Brass later one is hard to find and easy to rebuild ,I found one to replace the plastic one in my 75 and resealed it with a few o rings for the local hardware store. Just a bit of info.
