+1 on replacing the Kugelfischer (KF) fuel pump O-rings. They dry out over time. You can get them from a plumbing or HVAC store, I believe you want to green buna-N ones. Much cheaper than from dealer. The KF pumps run forever as long as they are used regularly. Mine ('73tii) has over 340,000 miles on it and has never been touched. Replaced the gilmer drive belt at about 140,000 miles. Problems seem to crop up when they have been sitting, hopefully yours will be OK. Make sure to fill the KF with oil (see manual on how to do) and turn over by hand before starting engine.

Hey finally a car with the same recaros as me. I just installed a set (run a search for pics) that's a great car and find, happy motoring.
