Thinking of selling my Tii Motor...

It is a 1974 2002 TII M10

Built By Curtis at WTF Motorsports in Orlando,FL

IE re-grind cam (292)

Full rebuild top and bottom (will have compression test if someone is interested)

Top End Performance Header

New linkage installed and Pump tuned 6 months ago

Oil always changed at 3k or every four months

The motor has between 40k-45k mikes on it

I drive this car to meets and drive it pretty hard on the streets. I have never over-reveded it or "abused it" and have always maintain it.

I would sell the motor and everything bolted to it for 2.1k

If you are interested, let me know. The motor is still in the car.

*This motor has a nice "lope" to it at idle and revs very smooth. It is very easy to drive and keep up with almost any 2.0 M10 with dual side drafts

I only want to sell it so I can do an M20 swap.. I live in a town with a turbo M20 swap and an Evo S-14 swap...I gotta keep up! LOL!

This is THE M10tii motor to buy! I can definitely vouch for Greg's care of this car and motor and can assist in any tests needed on the motor a buyer would like to see.

I can also remove and install it in your car however needed as well here locally. Please feel free to contact me with any mechanical questions on this motor and enjoy a new fresh heart transplant in your tii!

This motor has the factory tii pistons, basically a fresh clean rebuild.

Stock rocker arms and springs and fully rebuilt head by a local Machine shop here that does great work and we send all BMW engines for refreshing.

Greg should have receipts but I do not have the exact list any longer.

I will have to check on the timing chain specifications or Greg may have pictures from when it was apart. The chain is new and sprockets were in excellent condition.

Valves were adjusted when built, shortly after, and then Greg keeps up full maintenance to keep the motor in spec.

Parts I did were a new oil pump, water pump, rings, bearings, head rebuild, and any and all gaskets and seals.

You won't be disappointed for a clean nice tii motor!

were the cylinders just honed? or were they sleeved to get the stock pistons back in?

I will take the motor if the first backs out. Assuming the kugel is working fine.

I will have a freight company come pick it up

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
