Wow, nice restoration! I like the bumper over riders... I'm thinking of losing them since I've got new chrome bumpers, but after seeing yours maybe I'll reconsider.

Cool. I have a Verona 72tii, euro version, which I have had since '87. I like Malaga...it's classy.

Good luck on yours. They are a blast. Don't be in too giant a hurry to finish it, I think the "journey" while fixing up the car can be as enjoyable as the end product.

Nice to read of other Philadelphia area 2002 projects. I am also in process of restoring a 2002 - a 1972 Malaga version. It will be needing some engine work at some point - runs but rough and difficult to start. Also, kills batteries... I will do suspension, exhaust and brakes. Removing rears today - will clean and see what needs replacing (probably all of it).

I'm out in the mainline area.

What steering whell did you put on I like it

I installed a vintage 1969 Nardi wooden wheel that I got on ebay. The original leather covered 3 spoke wheel is going to stay with the car (if I ever sell it). The smaller wheel is a nice change from the school bus wheel it had.
