  1. I can't believe what I just laid my eyes on. This Polaris/Blue, '74 2002 4 speed, is an absolute time capsule. Just beautiful! 43k miles! not 143k miles but a true 43k mile car. Not a wear mark on the seats, pristine dash and carpet, perfect paint and original Michelin xas tires. Also has all of the glove box books and original tool kit. I will be helping in the resurrection and sale of the car. Has the original, like new window sticker and, the shipping invoice. Hasn't been registered or driven since 1990. just sat in this huge garage, covered, all these years.New battery and fuel in the next couple of weeks. No pics or, asking price yet. The recently uploaded pics below, were from 2013 when, the car was pulled out for a bath and pushed back into position and covered afterward.. The only oddity that I spotted is, the drivers door has a trap mirror. Didn't 74,5,6 have flag mirrors? Dave swears that nothing but minor service has been done on the car since he purchased it new and, I believe him. Purchased at German Motors in SanFrancisco. it's 5/74 car. Stay Tuned, dq
  2. I see a rust line on the pass rear wheel housing. Tip of the iceberg. Just sayin'
  3. Don't know what brand header this is. In excellent condition, not all rusty and crusty.Still has the original paint on it so, I think that it was used for only a short time.has the factory configuration at the 3 bolt flange so, a bolt on unit.
  4. HI, Thanks for your interest in the Alpina. I will be restoring back to as close to original as it was when it left Alpina. Unfortunately Alpina didn't keep records before 1978 so, I have to go by what the previous owner told me as far as what was done at the Alpina shop. What I know so far is, it had a stock Tii engine,Sheel seats, auxiliary guage cluster and sway bars. I'm hoping to acquire the original sway bars and have a set of Borrani steel wheels for it. Stay tuned for anything else that I can find on it's history. Any help or advice on history would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards from Colorado, Dan

  14. This is a nearly new auxiliary cooling fan system removed in favor of returning to a stock fan and shroud setup. It has all of the components to install, relays, wires, plugs etc. The only thing missing is the 4 plastic ties to hold it to the radiator. Great for a race car build. dq $20 plus some shipping = $10-15. Contact me for pics.
