  1. IF first interested party on exhaust falls through and IF you decide ship I’m interested in the exhaust.
  2. They went to a nice forum member down in Medford who drove up and got them. Going on a Polaris roundie.
  3. I like those 14's lowniss37, almost bought a set of the Superlites out of Australia that look just like that. They were out of stock at the time, and I then found the Kleeblatt wheels. The Vredesteins are great tires, have had them before on other cars!
  4. Oh I did drop the dollars on period correct rubber, on my other '02 that is still running 13's (thank you Longstone Tyres) The 200 treadwear tire wars have produced some amazing autocross tires, and I wanted some of that grip everyone else is enjoying! Also, the Yokohama A052's I'm running were no cheaper than Pirelli CN36's on the other car. But at least they'll last less than half as long! It's how many smiles, not how many miles!
  5. That’s the beauty of the hobby. Something for everyone! The 195/50 on a 15x7 has pretty much identical outside dimensions to a 205/60 on a 13x6 so tire to wheel opening relationship is the same. That said, not trying to convince anyone, and fortunately for me I like both looks! I said “went to the darkside” in my post as I knew there were strong opinions on this subject on both sides.
  6. Ha! Yeah, no. 15’s are as big as I like. Do love the 13’s though. Here’s the car with the Kleeblats
  7. I have a set of 13x6 Ronal Kleeblats I’m hanging on to just in case. Just so many sticky tire choices in 15” I gave it a go. So far I like them.
  8. For sale is a set of 5 ATS classic 13x6 ET28 wheels with 205/60r13 Toyo RA-1 tires. Were on my car until two weeks ago, I have changed my look (gone to the 15” darkside) Wheels are in good shape, not perfect, but to be expected from vintage wheels. Caps are from an E21, I do not have the ATS caps. I bought the tires new, the have life left, but I have used them well. They have some good outer edge wear from lack of camber (since been rectified, thanks DanJer!) one does have a bit of a groove on the inner sidewall from a tie rod rub I noticed after the first Auto-X. Fixed that with some 3/8 spacers that I will include if wanted. I ran the tires quite a bit in this condition with no ill effects. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Great vintage wheels, hard to find a set of 5 Local pickup only I’m about 40 min North of Portland. Thanks, John
  9. Thanks for all the great input! I have Magnaflow mufflers on my truck so I am familiar. Will search through their catalog and find a match.
  10. Thanks for the insight. Been happy with the exhaust, but the guts in the mid muffler have come loose and it is quite annoying. Didn't know they were changing owners, kinda surprised on that one. Any backstory?
  11. As the subject says, having trouble getting ahold of Ireland Engineering. I want to order a replacement mid muffler for my IE system (mine rattles bad) and can’t reach anyone by phone, or email. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks, John
  12. When I asked the question the other day I was pretty sure it wasn’t marked sold, but then after I asked it was so I’m guessing it’s gone. I was gonna grab it, but seems I am was too late.
  13. I see it says DGAS which I think would be the water choke. This looks to have an electric choke (DGES) did you swap the choke? And am I seeing correctly that it’s electric?
  14. They are definitely beefier than the stock arm! Fully boxed and welded nicely, not a stamped channel.
  15. Thanks everyone for the ideas! I think I am going to try some vinyl as I have some scraps in both silver and white. That way I can try it and peel off if I don’t like it.
  16. So I just got done installing my repop Italians on my Inka 73, stepped back to bask in the clear/orange glory and saw.....that they looked mostly orange due to the orange paint in the recess showing through the clear lens. My question, has anybody painted the inside of that cavity a silver or grey to make them pop a bit more, or is that just how it is on an orange car?
  17. Well I finally got to really put these through a great workout. I did take them to an autocross late last year, but it was so cold out the tires didn't have their usual grip. This Saturday was mild so I went out on a good backroad where could get some sustained spirited driving and build some heat in the tires. I must say I am very happy with them! The extra camber makes a noticeable improvement. Yes, overall grip is up, but the biggest thing I noticed was the increased confidence on corner entry, and then the increased front grip from more tire on the ground made for the ability to hold the line with steering input instead of letting off the gas to keep it from pushing and running wide. In short, I really like them
  18. Thanks, I will check that out. I do have that hanger connected. Whatever broke is inside the muffler, you can hear it when you tap on it. Like one of the baffles or the perforated core.
  19. Hello, I have the IE exhaust on my 73 and really have liked it, BUT something has broken loose inside the middle muffler, and it now has an annoying rattle. It is my understanding that I can't just get this part. Is that correct? If anyone else has experienced this, any recommendations on what to replace it with? Or, how loud is it it without it? And negative effects removing it? I know sometimes removing a restriction results in a loss in bottom end torque. I do know the rattle is driving me crazy! Thanks, John
  20. Thanks for all the great responses. I just had the car aligned after I did some front end work. It feels a little lazier on turn in than it did, and I’m not sure if maybe the toe was a little more aggressive with the old alignment. Didn’t measure before disassembly. Just want to play around a little
  21. May have found an RA1 replacement! http://hoosiertirewest.com/hoosier-vintage-historic-205-60r13-speedster If in the market for racing tires, call Roger Krauss racing..can't say enough how helpful these guys were, and super willing to find a solution! https://rogerkrausracing.com
