Monterey County Back Road Drive Saturday July 18th

New Years Day drive 2019, Hollister Chevron, to King City, to Nacimento/Ferguson Road, to Hwy 1, then home.

The 1st set of numbers is without driver, the 2nd set is with me in the car. I did pick up a bit of front weight due to the S14, but also added some weight due to beefing up the rear for the 20-gallon fuel cell.

I bought my second “02” from a lady down in Los Angeles in1984, it was a factory black “73”, black interior with a factory sunroof.

The first photo is what it look like when I drove it home from Santa Barbara, the last photo was around 1987.

I bought my first “02” from a guy in Carmel in 1982, it was a 69.

Sounds good Paul, Laguna Seca is less than 10-miles from my house, I always throw a gathering after "Legends"............

Car Week around the Monterey Peninsula is one of the FUNNEST times of year, it's a shame it has been canceled.

If any "02" enthusiast are still planning to be in town for the canceled weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday), contact me, I'm gonna put something together, (BBQ, backroad drives etc........), I live here in Seaside (93955)

I use clear hose the same diameter of the spring and shoved it on.

The first photo was December 21st, 2013, the day I brought my “02” home from Los Angeles.

I was also too lazy for the install, I did not want to add additional weight, I rather hear the sounds..........

I live about a half mile from Hwy 1 here on the Monterey Peninsula.

I named the ole “Sh*t-box” in memory of my late Father, it’s a 1926 Dodge Phaeton......

The photos posted was when I tried the 225/45’s. When going through travel with the coil spring removed, the tire hit on the upper left rear of the rolled lip....

The last photo working left to right is the 205/45’s, 215/45’s, and the 225/45’s.

I'm not running 15's, I have 17's on the rears with 215/45's, et25 with rolled lips...……..
