Years of racing circle track dating back to 1997 with these carburetors made my decision to go this route.

I tried flat slides on one of my race cars back in 2001, a Toyota 3TC, could not get them to work. Several guys at Meridian Speedway in Idaho tried on different motor combo's (Ford Pinto, Honda, Datsun & Toyota) with no luck. They all switched, or went back to the 44mm Mikuni round slides.

Has anyone else successfully installed motorcycle carbs on there M10 or S14? I just surpassed the 51,000-mile mark with the 44mm Mikuni VM-series round slides on my S14.I recall seeing a few post about guys attempting to install the Yamaha R1 motorcycle carbs, another post using a set of CV carburetor used on Harley's.Checking see if they ever made any progress with their build?

Does anyone have the number or website for the guy in San Francisco that sells the heater box re-build kits?
Thanks

I misread your post on the first page of this thread as one of the projects that was still underway, not as a completed conversion. Sounds like you landed on a combo that works well. That’s good to know in case I keep blowing out boosters.
What pads are you running on the wilwoods?
I'm a little over 50,000-miles since installing the Corvette master cylinder/modified "bell crank", no complaints, the brakes feel like the cars I used to race.

No news, not gonna pursue it, did not seem like much interest in the event.

I'm not sure of Steve's last name, red Tii, can some one give me a number to contact him?
-
I would like to take over, promote it and move it to a San Benito/Monterey County drive if the tradition is being abandoned by Steve.

With 7600-miles on the new Evo head, it was time to run the valves.
I gave the machine shop a spreadsheet when he assembled the head so he could document each shim per valve, that way I had a baseline to work with on the next valve adjustment. Makes things go MUCH faster this way.
The 2nd spreadsheet is for my next adjustment.
I thought to share a photo of the plugs too, they were new when I replaced the head. My buddy thinks it's a little rich, I told him that it may be from the octane boost I've been running for the last two tanks. He wants to see the percaline a bit more grayer.

That’s how my set-up is done.

NICE. I had the pleasure and privilege to see "New Order" perform "LIVE" back 1985 when they were on tour here in the USA. Saw them at Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center in Oakland, CA.
