    Price:: 2800 Location: : san diego, ca I have a rebuilt pump for sale. I bought it as a spare for my Tii but have never used it. You can see in the pics how nice it is and it has been stored properly in a lightly oiled rag and sealed up. $1200.00 Also have 4 NOS injectors I'd like to get $1600 for. I'll accept offers, but I think the prices are fair. Sean

    Haven't tried rolling down a hill with engine off, but noise is definitely there with engine idling rolling down a hill. When the car is moving, and noise occurs, I have put in the clutch to let the car idle while moving and the noise persists. Therefore, sound seemingly is related to car movement and independent of the engine RPMs. In the same situation, I'll rev the engine with clutch depressed and noise still persists unchanged. I don't feel any abnormal vibration when it's happening. Like I sais, I haven't tried rolling down a hill without the engine on, but based on all I have tried while driving, I am sure the noise would still be there. Thanks guys for all!

    The driveshaft center support bearing seems reasonable to check. I looked and all mounts are good, but it's pretty dry around that center support.

    Doesn't make noise if car is sitting still revving the engine. The noise only happens when the car is rolling down the road. Changes in the RPM don't have any affect on the noise. The noise gets a little worse at higher speeds and comes and goes.

    I have been searching the forum and can't find a solution. I have a strange noise which seems to come from inside the dash or under the car there when I am moving. I have replaced the speedo cable and ruled out a fan issue by locking it in place......and no improvement with either. If I push in the clutch while it's happening, there is no improvent in the noise, so I think it is some passive moving system while moving. Seems completely independent of engine acceleration also. Sounds like a whirling scratchy noise similar to a bad speedo (I have had one before) but its definitely not that. I also drove the car without any cable and it still made the noise. Is there anything in the flywheel system that may cause that? Don't know......any guesses? Thanks in advance.

    Hi guys, trying to restore my bumper, currently getting chromed, and I'm taking the dive and ordering new impact strips as well. I need lots more t-bolts for the impact strip attachment since many of them were rusted and broken. Anyone know where to get those without paying 5 bucks a pop on BMW parts sites? Any advice is appreciated. For 72 2002tii bumpers

    My tab on the lock cylinder broke off and I went in through the speaker holes in my back deck. I used a slim Jim to latch onto the metal tab u can see(from the back seat view) inside of the center hole of the lock shroud. Hard to explain, but if you can get your back deck off and have speaker holes, I think its an easy way in. I took out my back seat to get a better view which only takes a few minutes also. You can email me for a better explanation if you want to use this method.
