I just purchased a set of Solex PHH side drafts from Ebay.  They were listed as a true barn find.  I noticed the stampings on the intake manifold and realized they won't work with my 1600-2, so I'll but them in a box for storage or offer them up here if someone needs them.  I really gotta quit buying stuff after my evening cocktails- I just don't pay enough attention to what I'm buying.  I'm sure I'll find something to use them on someday if nobody wants them.  Not sure what they're worth, but I'm open to offers.  Email my user name at gmail for fastest response.  Thanks!

I believe that would be two manifolds, a front and a rear, each manifold for a single PHH.
 
There are some good threads that show precisely which manifolds are correct for 1600ti’s and 2002ti’s. Genuine OEM 1600ti manifolds are quite rare.

I received my first set and have paid for two sets.  Frank has updated me with pictures of the second set.  The first set looks beautiful, they were packaged with extreme care, and were quickly delivered via FedEx.  I’m beyond happy and have high expectations for the second set which should ship next week. 

Update on my wheels- my payment cleared today via TransferWise and Frank sent me tracking information for the first set. They are scheduled to arrive 6/3. The second set is being finished and shipped this week. Fingers crossed, but it seems to be working out.

I also went with 13” Pirelli Centuratos and they look awesome.  My suspension needs a major overhaul, so I can quite speak to the performance of the tires just yet.

Finally got around to reviewing and organizing the records for my Nevada ‘69.  I have about 100 records dating back to the original deposit put down for the car at Fred Snook’s BMW of Monterey!  

Well, I wish I had seen this thread before sending Frank payment.  I just ordered wheels from him and he wouldn't take Paypal.  He would only use TransferWise which doesn't offer payment protection.  I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope for the best.  I'm officially terrified about the payment I sent for TWO sets of wheels.  

Looking for a early lower steering column piece for a car with choke.  Also looking for rear license plate lights.  I already have lenses and bases, so really just need the internals.  Thanks!

I have a set of decent MSW 14” basketweaves available.  I only have two roundels for them.   Not sure what they’re worth, so I’m open to offers.  Tires are garbage and can have them removed.  Would prefer local pickup, but could probably ship them.  Thanks!

Hope everyone made it down without any issues.  Lewis sent me a great video of the caravan just to make me jealous.  Have fun this weekend!  I’ll join next year, for sure.  This year I’ll be at the Deutsche Marque Concours.  Not sure which of my cars I’ll be bringing, but hopefully I’ll drive Nevada over there.  Waiting on these new tires to arrive.  

So, I’m working on putting together a timeline for the repairs needed on my 1600-2.  The lower a-pillar pieces appear to need immediate attention.  The pieces seem readily available, but this is beyond my abilities.  Anyone local to DC have a recommendation of somewhere or someone experienced with doing this work?  I also need to replace the rear drivers side floor pan.  

I have a couple great body shops, but they don’t usually work on cars this old so I would rather find an alternative.  If anyone local has a moment to check it out and join me for a beer, it would be much appreciated.

Yes, I could probably make it, 2002Scoob.  I just have a couple little things I would like done before heading down there.  Gotta get my headlights working, address the clutch, put the new tires on, and see what I can do about a little oil leak.  

Geoff, I thought about shipping it directly down there.  I can always wait another year, I guess.  Getting that rear floor pan replaced in the next month or so.  Then its carpet time.  

My newest project arrived this week, but I’m not quite sure the car is ready for the long haul from DC to Asheville.  If anyone wants my spot, you’re welcome to it.  Sad to go be missing the show and really hoped to pick up some parts I need.
