Anyone know where I can find the key code for my car????

If the lock cylinder is still good, I'll come pick it up tomorrow!

Interested in some parts, please email me. xlittlejohnx@yahoo.com

Essem, I got to the thread late, but I'm interested in buying a set of the lights when they are ready...

Folks, the items sold to my Arlington neighbor- williamggruff.

Tried posting pics, but they must be too large...

Tons of parts and I don't wanna go through all of them. Gas cap, hazard switches, seat belts, trim pieces, etc. A full aftermarket A/C system as well! Anyone interested in picking these up? $70 for everything! I'm located in Alexandria, VA and I don't have time to ship anything.

Lack thereof sounds right to me. Thanks Bob.

So, my tach does not work and when I turn the headlights on, the engine temp gauge shoots up. Is it most likely that this is from a bad ground?

I'm in for a set!

My 2002 had that wheel on it for many years. I should still have the hub if you are interested.

I have a full A/C kit that has sat unused in dry storage for many years. I think it is a Behr A/C system, but not positive. I have every item to do a complete install. I will post pictures soon. I would like to sell locally in Alexandria, Va in order to avoid shipping. I can show the system pretty much anytime and will accept the best offer. Hope someone is interested!

The very cleanest 2000 M5 you will find. Widescreen Navigation update, Refinished Wheels, New Michelins, Exhaust, Chip, 3M Clear Bra, Phatbox Mp3 System, etc. BMW CCA Member vehicle that has been very carefully driven and maintained. Rare Silverstone Metallic with Black full leather interior. Truly, none nicer. 89,700 miles.
$21,000/OBO

Last fall I was fortunate enough to purchase another 2002...this spring, its not liking me. I drove it home a couple months ago, parked it, and it hasn't started since. If there is anyone out there that would enjoy making a few bucks and turning some wrenches, I could really use some help. I would like to get the car running again for the summer, install my electronic ignition, new carpet, and some other goodies. Anyone interested? I'll provide the booze as well :-)

Thanks for all the info guys. I came to the same conclusion. So glad to finally have another 2002. Now I gotta go figure out how to get all the lights working. Nice wiring from the PO...

So, I bought another 2002 and thought that I purchased a '73, as titled. I looked up the vin, 2533497, and it looks like I have a '72 Automatic. Looking at the floor, it appears to have once been an automatic and I think there was once an "automatic" emblem on the back from the two holes without a badge to cover them. Anyone know where I can research this or possibly have any info? Thanks!

I rolled the fenders on my old GTI with nothing more than a rubber hammer. Worked great!

Barry,
Thanks for the info. I kinda suspected this was a "caveman" special of sorts. Cutting and welding is above and beyond what I am willing to do myself. Time to find an expert in the DC area!

I recently purchased a '72 2002, but the E-Brake has been modified. Does not look the e-brake on my last 02 by any means. I am about to put new carpet in, but don't want this huge bracket in the way or to put new holes in the carpet. Pics were to big for this site. Here is a link to my other post on the cca site... http://bmwcca.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3525
