  1. This is nice street/fun setup. Even has the hybrid camber plates which use some poly in the bushing instead of all solid metal. Somebody's car needs this!
  2. No such thing as a "close ratio" steering box. Steering only has one ratio. Transmissions can have "close" ratios. That is a "quick ratio" steering box.
  3. What Steve and Lorin said. They are not installed correctly. Should go UNDER the strut tower.
  4. cutting and shortening a driveshaft is a significant "change"......and a potential source of vibration.
  5. horizontal stitching and the lower than "normal" seat tilt levers that don't stick out are the clues. structure and design same as all the other sport seats though. they are sport seats, just those little details different. GLWS!
  6. local 02'er will be saving these from the dumpster.
  7. interior mirror in nice shape. "ball joint" to adjust mirror is not loose. $40. it is packed and ready to go in a USPS medium flat rate box. shipped CONUS will be $50 total. M3M3M3
  8. How did you change from 4spd to g245 5sp without changing the csb/driveshaft?
  9. e30 convertible seats If no takers here, might try over on r3vlimited.com.
  10. last chance...they are going in the trash tomorrow night....
  11. Sorry, it is marked sold in the subject line
  12. L&R trailing arms for a 2002. I stripped these and refinished, then installed new bearings and poly bushings. used them on my 75 for about 1k miles before I switched to boxed TA's. excellent shape. no bends, rust or other issues. maybe some fresh grease and these are ready for use. $250 plus any shipping expenses if you can't pick them up. good rear subframe comes free with the TA's, or to whomever shows up first to get it. not going to ship the subframe. TA's are the gloss black ones next to the subframe in these pictures. m3m3m3
  13. pair of rear side panels from interior of 2002. finished in black vinyl. free.....gotta pick it up in Alexandria, VA. Do it soon before I donate them to the trash bin.
  14. Carbon fiber trunk lid. made to fit using stock hinge/latch locations. finished in black gel coat. this was on my project list for the M2, but never got around to fitting it so this was never used. will require trimming leading edge for installation. do not want to ship this. come get it in Alexandria, VA
  15. LOL! yeah, in CA that is a total. just part the car out and call it done.....?
  16. Will fit onto the car. But non tii hubs and brakes will not work with this.
  17. what is the etiquette for bumping for sale threads by sellers? certain sellers bump all their for sale threads every couple of days.....sending all the others off the first page. how about a once a month limit or something? the repeat bumping seems kinda rude...
  18. standard 2002 steering box. excellent condition. no play on center and 1/2in of adjustment still available. this was my ready spare for my M2, but never needed to use it. $500 picked up in Northern Virginia.
  19. Driveline Service of Portland driveshaft. I had it built for my G245 5spd conversion. used for about 1k miles. nearly new condition, greaseable u-joints, center support bearing and guibo. includes trans output flange. bolt on and go. $500 picked up in Northern VA.
  20. This x100. Dcoe's are not "bolt on" "set and forget" items. You need to do a bunch of research and love to tinker with things. The cool look and sound comes at a price. For performance at the level of engine build you are talking about, two dcoe's are not even the right answer. ONE dcoe is a better choice. And simpler on many levels.
  21. the Tii stuff or all of them? ? coming up to NOVA before or after the Vintage?
  22. Tii bits are sold. will relist the normal trailing arms separately time to start moving all my spare parts along... need a Tii suspension? Two Tii front struts in good shape. no bents, dents or issues. spindles good. spring perches solid. Two Tii boxed trailing arms. no dents or bends. some surface rust. $1500 for all of the above picked up in Alexandria, Va. also.... two "normal" trailing arms that were completely redone. excellent condition. I redid these 10 years ago, used them on my car for about 1k miles, then took them off. stored since. have urethane bushings and fresh bearings. $500 and.... a late model rear subframe. same story as the normal trailing arms. using on my car for 1k miles. removed when i replaced it with adjustable one. FREE with purchase of either of the above items....
  23. have taken apart a lot of "original" 2002's. never seen a diff bolt inserted from the bottom up by factory. they were all pointed down. but structurally, it makes no difference one way or the other. red loctite and tq to spec. done. right side up or upside down they do the same thing. practically, it is a whole lot easier to drop them in from the top.
  24. Makes no sense to have bolts go up. Washers always go under the nuts.
