PR... I heard they know a thing or two about rotors there... :-)
Nice pics. Looks like a great day!

5 stars
"The driver displays a great knowledge of the road as well as an excellent use of all of the rev range and gears... the car howls like a wild banshee and no doubt the smile still lingers on the drivers face. I hope to one day join you on the road to experience it first hand. What a pleasure to watch, thank you." - Todd BMW2002faq user

Nice... you must be a proud dad!

Blunt, did you send me mail? My email is farked! I'm not sure if you got my mail or replied....
-
Mine was a 10,11,12... that was the way I put it back - makes sense to me as there is no point sealing between where it bolts to and part 10 as no fuel should theoretically ever end up there... where as the gap between the rubber and the two metal pieces can end up with fuel in there... well thats what I thought.

I cant say a bad word about Blunt except he is sending me broke!
unkorama@gmail.com I know his email off by heart... top service and an even better bloke. I love knowing I'm helping to fund the build up of one of the nicest 2002's around! (be it in a small way... every bit counts!)

Nice work Lee. The site looks very professional and I wish you all the best in your new venture. If I can do anything to help, just shoot me an email.

So talk me through it...
I desire a rear disk brake upgrade, but I want an eBrake (hand brake as we call them here) I was thinking of running a Wilwood M/C set up, but I dont know what I need exactly and what engineering is required to get it to fit. I had my brakes all rebuilt a few years back when my rear right drum shoe ripped off and destroyed the guts of it (I was driving in peak hour at the time and used my eBrake to stop me - lucky I knew what I was doing... kinda)
What is the benefit of the stabiliser bar? Has anyone done it to a car without a roll cage support running though below the dash?
Who knows where to get the best price on these items?

I'm excited!
Mid last year I decided I wanted to get a brake kit of my 2002. After a bit of research I found there was only a few options and of them, most used second hand or referbished parts. I was not really interested in this as I like the piece of mind of having something brand new.
There was one clear winner in my mind...
I purchased and had a set of Lee's Massive Brakes having them shipped by sea... to my displeasure, Mr Canadian Post (or maybe Aussie Post) decided he wanted them more than I did.
After contacting Lee, he sorted everything out for me and had a replacement shipped airmail and they arrived days later. The product looks top quality and I cant wait to put them on my car!
Thanks to Lee for being open and honest in helping me when things went amiss with the postage and doing his best to rectify the situation. This is far more than can be said about another Canadian 2002 vendor who has not returned my email after "all he has to trade on is is integrity and quality" product failed QC. /me rolling eyes...
I am still trying to work out if I should get a new dual M/C from Wilwood or a BMW 745iL set up... any recommendations?
Cheers,
Todd

Jay Kay's first car was a 1602, which he sold to pay for his first record. When he made his first bit of money from his record, he purchased the car back and still has it to this day...

Nice work... pics looks great. I dont know if you have seen it, but Top Gear did a special on American cars vs Euro cars around that track just recently. It was really quite amusing.
Good to hear your shake down has gone well.

I thought the AO32R has been discontinued and the AO48R is the replacement... not 100% though.

Mayeb she wants you to be done with her car before spring is here so she has plenty of time to enjoy it? ;-)

Nice work Curtis...
This is two 2002's in a row as PBMW car of the year.

Do you guys not know how to do Stoppy's?
The 02 is so light that it will spin both wheels with no troubles on the spot even without LSD...
If I had my car, I would add a pic :-P

I have seen this car at a track school back in the year 2002. It's good to hear the guy has it running and handling well now.
The fastest o2 I have seen is the bule 75 model from Austrailia, I have a video clip of it putting down 488 hp to the wheels. the engine spec is .... 2.1 m10 e30 m3 throttle bodys and intake plenum. turbo of uknown manufacture, intercooler, aftermarket engine managment, 30psi boost and lots of dyno tunning..
There was a Finnish (sorry if I'm worng) 1502 featured in an Aussie movie called Serious Performance 7 about 3 years ago. The owner recently posted on here with a link to the video...
I assume this is the one you are talking about. The car is featured on the dyno and it has M stripes across the rocker cover and stripped out interior... it then goes and shows it doing burnouts with a yellow Ford Escort.

NOOOO! Your cab is beautiful! You cant M2 it... M2 another one! I doubt it would handle too well without the roof anyway. Just my thoughts. I love your cab, it looks immaculate!
