If you are a wine man, you will enjoy having a tipple at the cellar door sales down under! So when are you coming?? :-)
-
If it was American wine, chances are it was shiit anyway :-P Sorry, I couldnt resist!
That is funny! "American wine" is a term I have never heard before. You guys most get only the wine that is produced in Alabama and none from WA or CA!
Cheers!
I was just winding you all up! I know there are a few top vineyards in the US.
I lived with a wine merchant for 3 years... he always said there is some excellent wines in California but everywhere else isn't much chop... I once had a bottle of a very nice drop from a whinery that the name escapes me now, but it was delivered by a friend of my dad, who lives in San Fran...
We are pretty spoilt in Australia. AFAIK, we are the largest wine consumers per capita by a long way (yeah, we are a nation of drunks (and some say convicts... meh)
Australia have many premium brands that export to the US. Penfolds is probably our most prolific with a wine called Grange Hermitage... this is one of our most expensive, with many people having collections dating back many years - having a "Grange collection" is kinda like having a collection of really fancy cars... some are even worth $150,000+
There are a number of wine regions right the way across Australia.
The Barossa Valley in South Australia
Coonawarra in South Australia
Margaret River in Western Australia
Yarra Valley in Victoria
Hunter Valley in NSW
to name just a few... where my parents have a house in South Australia, it is just down the road from the Coonawarra area, dad deals with a lot of the wine makers through various different activities and has amassed quite a collection of wine that resides in his underground cellar. It fluctuates in number fairly significantly!
About 9 years ago dad got a whole lot of his staff wine for a christmas present... 3 dozen bottles, all at about USD80 a bottle, pretty big bucks for hsi admin staff, but a nice drop and a nice present... anyway, that wine now is worth about USD$3000 a bottle if you can find it! Dad was saying just recently "I remember drinking 3 bottles of it in the lead up to at Christmas! Damn it was good though!"

Instead of dumping on a respected member here, how about you suggest that you - as a genuine 02 enthusiast - will happily take care of any car in transit if the need arises... I guess I'm looking at it from a glass half full situation.
I dunno about you, but if someone said "We will take great care of your car if you ever want it shifted from CA to where ever... we are not the cheapest, but we'll do it right." I'd be as happy as a pig in shit and recommend you to everyone...

Sounds like your getting there mate - Keep plugging away!
What did you use for clips for the cardboard piece again? Have you got the liner in yet?
I just used a whole lot of clips that came from a Wurth box in the back of the panel shop... they fitted well and held the board fine - they were flat and plastic, so no chance of rusting.
sweet work Todd. when it's done nobody will be able to wipe the grin from your face for months!Yeah, I am really hanging to get behind the wheel of it again! I'm just taking my eye off work a bit too much trying to get it all sorted, and I've had a few set back with parts not being what I had expected in terms of quality, but I will get there.
I have a full set of RIMSPOKE'S world famous stainless trim holders en route as I type, so I am happy I finally got those! RIMSPOKE was a champ to deal with!

Bill, you guys kick ass... nice work, I look forward to seeing your build ups. Great to see Evan is bitten by the bug... much safer than a Buell!

I'm sitting in the office in Mt Gambier... just spent 2 quality days that I had dedicated to 02, sweeping, washing, wiping, cleaning at my family business... hopefully I will get a chance to play tomorrow and Friday...
Front bumper is on, tank is in, no pics...
More pics soon.

02fanatic,
Your blanket generalization about car hauling and the people who do it, only shows your glaring ignorance about it. If you don't know what you are talking about just shut the fuck up.
Wow! Got venom? Not sure why you dragged this from about 100 pages back, but 02fanatic is pretty highly respected around here.
Great way to make friends...

Why would you not get a tune that deletes the MAF all together? Isn't this what Coop has and it was very beneficial to power?
-
We'll never get it here either... I hope to be able to afford one one day though.

Shaun are you interested? If you aren't I'm keen to buy them to get me though until I can find ones that will fit my massive brakes...
