Never had this problem, but here is a possible solution....
Put the center bearing back up in place, loosely. Then take two of the guibo bolts and put nuts on them. You may have to get nuts that are flat on both sides. Then put the bolts in the transmission flange and rotate the driveshaft so the heads of the bolts are on the driveshaft flange. Now turn the nuts (start to remove them) so the bolts act as a press to move the driveshaft away from the transmission. You will have a nut against the transmission flange and the head of the screw against the driveshaft. There should be enough to push it off. If not, use longer bolts.
Good luck,
Mike

Fill it through the dipstick tube.

In my 2002 I do carry a spare, but the MINI did not come with one (and no place to put one). I switched from the runflats long ago and still do not carry a spare. What I do carry is a tire emergency kit. It includes a bottle of liquid slime and an electric pump. Have not needed it yet, but who knows.
That might be an option for you if you choose not to carry a spare.

Check the locking collar for the strut insert. It might be loose.

This is an E21 forum, not specifically 323 but there are quite a few 323 guys here. I am not aware of a specific 323 forum. Also as part of the Bimmerforums there is a classified section that may produce the transmission your are after.

Most wheels have a metal core and molded plastic around the core. Here is a video of how to restore one.

I might have one Stuart. I will have to check my stash when I get home. I will get back to you.

My guess would be differential.

The bearings wear and start making that noise.

Zero or 90 depending on which reference you are looking at.

You can take the inspection plate off the bottom and see if it went all the way thru.
-
Also realize that if the guibo is not fully bolted in (all 8 bolts) it will be larger in diameter than when it is in its free state.

If you use a cam with the correct gear on it. The E30 distributor spins the opposite direction from the 2002 distributor.

I may have one. I will have to check when I get home today. As a bonus, I am in San Jose.

When I was first introduced to that part it was called an 'air dam' primarily because it kept air from going under the car and creating lift. It had an additional function to. The holes allowed air to flow through flexible hoses to the calipers for cooling.

Porterfield R4-S
Pretty much the only pad I will use in my cars. Work well for track days and spirited driving.

Sounds like your battery is either discharged or one cell is toast. Have an auto parts shop check your battery.

Pretty sure you need to adjust the stop plates on the slides.
-
Turn the bracket on the transmission around. It should be oriented toward the rear of the car, away from the drain plug.

Most WB o2 sensors also have provisions for standard o2 output. Hook it up and see what happens.

I have one. Feel free to borrow it at your convenience. I am in south SJ.

When I had a carb on my engine, it had a spacer. It was between 3/16" and 1/4" thick. Can't remember exactly.

I had M&N springs on my car back in the 80's. Very good for the street. Wish they were still available now.

32 36 has integral aux venturis, doesn't it?
They are removable on a 32/36 but are supposed to be tight. Sometimes they wear and get loose. One arm has a fuel passage in it from the main fuel bowl. If they are loose, fuel can dribble down the main venturi. They can be tightened up using shims/knurling/peening.
