Check your messages. I sent you a couple of PMs.

What part of the linkage do you need? I will look and see if I have any of it.
$225 plus shipping is fine. Where will it be shipped to?
Thanks,
Mike

I am carrying one of these (Element) with me when I ride dirt bikes offroad. Have to because of regulations in the forest where I ride. Have not had to use it but the powers that be have acknowledged that it is a viable extinguisher and approved it.

I agree with tech71. Wheelskins is the way to go.

Check the center bearing!

The oil pan on an E21 is different than the 2002 oil pan. The oil pump pickup is also different.

I have seen them doubled up before. Also seen o-rings in front of the seal as well.
BTW, an old piston pin makes an excellent install driver for that seal.

Hi Kendall, sent you a PM. I still have the whole kit.

That other part that you call a needle valve is just a plug. No need to change. Just put it back where it came from.

Use JB Weld or get a different top cover for the Weber. If you get one with a thread in nipple you can get a nipple of the proper size.
-
If the bolt that connects the center rod bracket to the center rod lever is not a shoulder bolt it will get loose with use. You can use a locknut but eventually it will wear. Best to get a shoulder bolt of the appropriate size and use locktite on the nut.
BTW, have never seen that type of setup before. Maybe someone fabricated it?

Same thing happened to me but on the front cover. Found it when it was already installed. Carefully drilled it out and installed a heli-coil. Still working to this day with no leaks.

That is what I thought. I got that harness about 30 years ago and it has been sitting for quite a while.
No worries, good luck finding the correct one.

I MAY have the Volvo harness and ECU you want. Is there a way to tell if the ECU is the correct one? I can send photos but have to dig out to get to the box that the harness is in.
-
Depends on how 'perfect' you want it. I would drill it out and install a shoulder screw of the same size with the washer and nut. If anyone is looking at the back for 'correctness' they will find a flaw, but for function it will work fine.
Should you actually want it not to turn you could tack weld the head on the backside so it will not move and would not require a tool to hold it.

BTW, running a 284 cam with L-jet works great. Built my engine about 3 years ago with just that combo (9.5:1 + 284) and it runs wonderful.
Good luck and follow the advice above.

Hey Cort,
I have two oil squirter bolts. The only difference I can see is that one has a taller head on it. From the bottom of the head, the oil hole is in the same location.
Also, I have a support bar, but it is the stock 4-speed version. I do not think it has been modified, but you could do that easily.
Attached a couple of photos.
Let me know,
Mike

Had a similar issue. Used an adjustable cam gear from Ireland.
adjustable cam gear
Worked really good and a lot easier than the offset woodruff key for the crank gear. Never heard of an offset cam bushing.
