The '69 is down...Hopefully fixed in time for Eureka though!

I went on a spirited drive the other day and when I got back it was running a little "off". The next day the idle shot up to around 1500. I checked everywhere for vacuum leaks and couldn't find anything. So today I looked again and found that the front Weber 45 was loose... I noticed that the rubber oring on one of the insulators was coming off so I took the carb completely off to fix it. I got that done and began reinstalling the carb only to find that the front of it had a large crack!!! I tried just putting it back on and running it until I got a new carb body, but it appearantly got worse when I took it off... Sooo, I've got a new carb body on it's way and am hoping to have it here in time to switch the guts over am make it to Eureka!

Yeah, I gave that a shot. Didn't work out to well though... I should be getting the other carb body in on Thursday so I'll be there! I think I can switch the guts over in a bout an hour... We'll see!

Sorry I missed you guys... I did finally get it going, but not in time for a drive. It was good meeting a few of you yesterday though. I only wish I had been able to come and hang out some today... I'll be sure and make it next year!
