OBX headers, opinions?

Anyone had any experiences with the "OBX" performance headers sold on ebay? Search for "OBX" just turned up a few trips to the beach.

Probably 12 bucks of 304 made in China, but the price doesn't look terrible. Any experience with fitment, quality, durability, etc?

PO of my 76 bought one of these. The mounting holes on the header did not align with the block. The fleabay dillholes wanted to charge him a significant restocking fee, and since he would have had to cover return shipping, he decided to hang it on the wall behind the counter of his coffee shop. The part looks pretty nice on the wall. While this application of the part didn't achieve the increases in horsepower and torque the PO sought, it didn't add any weight to the car, and it lightened his wallet in the process. As a whole, the process provided the PO with opportunities to improve his use of vulgarities, obscenities and the vernacular, and gave him a significant boost in blood pressure.

made here in the USA 145$

cheaper than the ebay junk and made very well

it fits my 318i m10 super swell!!!!!

comes down clean and stays close to the body

check TEP before you buy the ebay crap

i asked the guy about the obx and he told me it was made in china

i dont like the idea of putting chinese stuff on my fine german car...
