Locating/ locking Heater motor/ upper housing

Recommended Posts

Having a difficult time trying to lock the motor from torque twisting. Been to the numerous faq`s. Is there any special way to keep the newer version reverse polarity type Bosch heater motor from twisting inside this style upper housing after the clips are attached, and power applied? Maybe the clips are`nt locking onto the proper part of the lower motor area. Anyone have a close up view. Maybe there is a better style motor housing that works with this motor? Thanx for help!

being the diameter of the motor. A plastic surround was used on the smaller diameter motors to allow them to fit securely into the housing.

hi,

when you install the 4 (four) clips

that hold the motor in the housing

it will not move. if the clips are

installed incorrectly the motor can

twist in the housing. the clip must

loop into the metal part of the motor

body and then rest in the indent on

top of the cage. take better pictures

and post them. to show the clips.

good luck
