ok, here's what I've got:

9-75 e12 head casting (it was in my '74 when I bought it, so who knows...)

77 or 78 320i water neck (came off the donor motor thats in the car, have to find my receipts)

Cannon (I think?) manifold

Weber 45DCOE

Pictures:

clearance isn't much, but they fit. The DCOE's hit the front of the fuel pump, I'll be running an electric anyway.

I can take more pictures Sunday when I'm back if anyone wants something specific. The manifolds had a notch for the bolt that spans the water neck/manifold section, but I couldn't tell if that was factory or if someone had done it before I bought them (picked them up used)

Another data point: I am using what I believe to be part no. 11 53 1 267 535, from a ~1980 318i... with Cannon manifold, lotsa room. Here are a few pics.
