Does anybody have a part number for a k/n air filer or other brands that would have proper dimensions to fit a 1bbl solex? (I have ditched the stock assembly)

I have a tiny little cone filter on there that's good for a Mini engine right now.

Get thee to a motorcycle shop. If all we are talking about is the single carb inlet, you should be able to adapt any number of offerings. Even a simple foam sock filter (ITG?) would be a natural.

I think I have found a nice filter.... Ramflo 300 or 600 series with a proper size neck...., etc.

The cart says they come in 52 mm as well

Find another stock assembly. Couple that with the proper hose and summer/winter box and you'll be in much better shape than sucking in hot underhood air with the "performance" type filters.

It says this thing is for weber, does it attach with a screw on top of carb?

Mine is not adapted for the wing style air cleaners.

Yeah I though of that too, but the thing is that this car is missing all the stuff to use the above .... I have just polished the carb too, nice and shiny, and there is also a coolant bypass in the intake, no hood seals either.
