Are these babies "use 'til fail", or would it be in my best interests to replace here at the rebuild? It was working when I took the engine apart last winter, but I'm a little leery after reading the old posts. I don't really want to find fuel in my oil when the diaphragm gives up the ghost, but my cheap bastard side is currently winning the argument......

I dunno, my original was in use through 197K miles. I only bought a new Bavaria pump when I converted to 38/38. Maybe we should invent the replace at 200K rule?
