engine and drivetrain S54 position sensor

I was just looking on a company's website for brakes and i noticed that thay also sell parts for the s14 engine .

One of these parts was a spacer so that an S54 throttle position sensor can be fitted to the s14 engine . can someone tell me why would you want to do this . what benefit would you get from this ?

i believe its for MS. i just sold lee one for his project among other stuff

s14 throttle sensor is not a traditional ratiometric (0 to 5v) type you would need for most efi systems, but instead is a switch indicating closed and WOT only.

The replacement/upgrades are 0-5v, some also have the extra capabilities (and wires) to indicate throttle closed and full throttle)

Blunt . can u tell me how much u sold the position sensor for . i am using a new stand alone ecu and it looks like i will need one

i think it was 82.50 if memory serves me.
