is it possible to swap a sr20 motor from a jdm 240sx into a bmw 2002? i was thinking about and i was just wondering if i can doi the swap or if the motor will fit before i go and buy the motor.

yes it will fit, but there are additional problems you will need to work out.

Since both the intake and exhaust are on the driver's side in the engine compartment, you will likely have to remove the brake booster and change to a steering rack in order to allow for exhaust and of course turbo piping if you are planning to go SR20DET
