The BMWNA semi was there as well, celebrating Country Rode's 10 year anniversary. I took the 2000 out for a drive yesterday and went by Country Rode; Beemer's filled the parking lot, hundreds of them, great turn out for the event. Check it out at www.countryrode.com

area last week in July on vacation.

Visited the motorsport reference library in Watkins Glen,

drove a few laps of the 'original' road course,

and really enjoyed the Glen Curtis Museum

in my mother's home town Hammondsport. Mom

graduated from Hammondsport HS 1942 - and many of my cousins

live up on the hill in Wayne overlooking the south end of Bluff Point.

Great country. Best farm in the Finger Lakes !
