Trunk Water Leak ?

Water drips into my trunk from both of those soft plastic vents. Or so it seems. Has anyone diagnosed this before and found a remedy?

Are you sure you don't have a trunk baby that is the cause of your moisture?

I just replaced the rear window seal that was leaking onto and through the rear deck. Those leaks seem to be gone.

one of the vents on my car was dry-rotted around the lip that seats into the hole in the body. this resulted in a leak into the trunk as you describe. i used some silicone to make a temporary repair until i can replace with new.

Check the nuts on the trunk hinge mounted to the uni-body. They usually have dum-dum oozing out. If someone loosened the nuts, you'll need to re-seal them.

Thanks. Those bolts actually look like a more likely culprit.
